Spada Costantino

Costantino Spada was born in Sassari in 1922.
He began using his artistic career in Venezia in 1949 in a collective of artists, and since then, during a span of 25 years, he has worked hard not only in Sardinia, but also in other regions of Italy, especially in Lombardia and Piemonte.
To understand his artistic genius, would be enough seeing his works in Sacred Heart church in Sassari.
His most important work was carried out in Sacred Art, which he cultivated since the age of 17, with performances of frescoes for the church of San Donato, San Sisto, San Giuseppe in Sassari.
The most magnificent and interesting work, however, remains the "Via Crucis" mosaic, taken along the walls of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Sassari.
He died in Sassari in 1975
