Mario Pittalis was born in Florinas (SS) in 1959 but he lives and works in Sassari. 

Figurative painter, often portrays scenes and Sardinian traditions. 

In his subjects alternate ardie and rides, as well as women in costume, often portrayed in particular moments of parties or parades. He participated with the Arte Spazio Gallery, at the  Sardinian paintings exhibition held in Pisa in October 2010 at the Leopolda Station.
