Calogero Jean

Jean Calogero was born in Sicily in 1922. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania and the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France. He is best known for his Surrealistic and Genre pieces.

He was awarded the Grand Silver Medal by the City of Paris in 1957. He lived and worked for many years in Paris and Italy, but also exhibited in the United States in Los Angeles and New York.

He died in 2001.
