Elio Pulli was born in Sassari in 1934 and he's one of the most important painter of this city. In 1952, when he was eighteen, Pulli won the Micheletti Prize in Francavilla a Mare; in 1955 he won the Marzotto Prize and in 1959 Pulli won the Cinisello Balsamo Prize. In 1955 in Rome, was exhibited one Pulli' painting during a group exhibition with italian artist such as Guttuso, De Chirico, Pirandello and Mafai. He started exhibiting in Sassari (1953), Cagliari (1969), Milan (1995), Todi (1996), Pisa and Florence (2001). In 2001, at the opening of the Palace Frumentaria, the Comune of Sassari dedicated to Maestro Pulli a Restropective Exhibition. In 2011 the Palace Frumentaria hosted another important solo exhibition in wich Pulli displays ceramics, sculptures and paintings. In September 2013 was organized an Anthology Exhibition at the Victorian Museum in Rome
